Now for the rest of the bathroom!
Does your bathroom have a linen closet? Then you will want to tackle that first. It’s always best to completely empty your closet. Then, of course, we want to wipe it down to begin with a clean slate.
Once you’ve done this, it’s time to put items back. Start looking over what you have to determine:
- How long have you owned it?
- How long has it been since you used it?
- Is this item really warn and falling apart?
- Are their mismatched sheet sets that you are not using?
- Are there items in this closet that don’t relate to bathroom use and really belong somewhere else?
If you’ve answered yes to anyone of these questions, then you really need to consider removing those items from your closet.
Either toss, donate or give away. That’s the motto!
As you are placing items back in this closet, think about family use. Do you have little ones that need to be able to reach the towels and they don’t really change sheets? Then perhaps the sheet sets go on a higher shelf and the towels are on a shelf they can reach.
Do you have little ones that should not have access to toiletries? Then be sure they are not on a shelf that can be reached.
Think about the items that really need to be in this room so that they are accessible when needed. Some of those essential items are:
- Oral Care
- Hair Supplies
- Nail Care
- Skincare Products
- Perfumes or Body Fragrances
- Travel Items
This really isn’t an overwhelming project and should be able to be complete in 1 – 2 hours. Happy Organizing and when you are done … take a nice warm bubble bath!
