As you begin to tackle an organizational project, one of the first things to consider is your mind clutter. You need to “mind your mind.” Here are three voices that you should listen for as you are organizing and de-cluttering.

Voice #1 – “It’s still good.”
Voice #2 – “It was expensive.”
Voice #3 – “I might use it someday.”

When you hear anyone of those three voices … or all three at once, ask yourself these questions and give yourself an honest answer. Then move on.

Question #1 – If it’s still good why are you not using it?
Question #2 – How long do you have to own it or keep it to depreciate the value of it?
Question #3 – When is someday?
