The past number of messages have been on the importance of rewiring your brain or renewing your mind to have victory in your life. I’ve taught that in order to know truth it would be important to know where you get that truth from? For me it’s always from my Heavenly Father.
He created me and He knows me better than anyone else … especially the “universe.” But so many people and especially women have been hurt by earthly fathers so to turn around and put trust in a “Being” you cannot even see, can be hard. Also, there are many people who have been hurt in the Church. I will always counsel them that maybe the people in your Church hurt you, but God never did. Don’t pull away from God.
Do You Trust the Father?
As hard as trusting in the Father can be, trusting Him is important. To grab a hold of truths to renew your mind must be from a place of trust. I was at a place where I could not trust my husband because of his many betrayals that I could not listen to what he said nor believe it was truth. Hence, who you are going to turn to so you can get truth to renew your mind must be in someone you trust.
This next series of teachings will be on getting grounded in the love of the Father as I read my book … “Can I have Your Heart … Daddy?”
Now I wrote this book 5 years ago and a lot has even changed in me since then and I will share those new revelations with you along the way. But this will be a good start to prompt you as I begin guiding you to the heart of your Heavenly Father.
If You Don’t Know Your Heavenly Father
Some of you might say, “I don’t consider Him my Heavenly Father” well I hope you will and as I have said, the way to begin that relationship is through Christ. Jesus said He was the only way to the Father. The way to begin that relationship with the Father is to ask Christ into your heart and repent of your sins. (BTW none of us can say we are sinless … no matter what you think.)
Now some of you might say, “I have no desire to have a relationship with the Father.” Of course, that is your choice, but I pray you change your mind. Especially if life is knocking you down and lacking in peace, joy or health. But again, that is your choice.
My prayer is that these messages bless you, encourage you, give you hope and bring you closer to the Father.
