I’m so excited.  Years ago, when I decided to remake my body care products one of those changes was my shaving cream.  Initially what I was able to find at Whole Foods was a gel type shaving cream and I didn’t like it, but it was all I could find.  Then Whole Foods had a brand that was “foaming” like the chemical ones I had used.

Well after a few years they stopped carrying it, so I had to go back to the gel type.  Then a few years ago I did a field trip with my book club to a Lavender Farm here in CT.  I was so excited because they had Lavender Foaming Shaving Cream.  I bought one.  Then when Covid hit, they were offering a special.  Spend a certain amount and get free shipping so I stocked up on the Shaving Cream.

Well, that purchased lasted until about a month ago and for some reason they don’t make it any longer or at least have it in stock.  What was I to do?  I didn’t want to go back to the gel type.  As always, I say a little prayer asking to find some and sure enough my prayer was answered

I use both doTerra and Aromatics Essential Oils.  Aromatics has wonderful YouTube videos and fantastic recipes.  One of those recipes was “Foaming Shaving Cream.”  I just made some.  It was so easy, I know what the ingredients are, and I know it’s safe to use on my body.

What Essential Oil did I use?  Of course, Lavender but my next round I’m going to experiment with other oils.
