If you are new to Essential Oils, there would be 3 oils I would start with. They would be Lavender, Lemon and Peppermint. These 3 oils are considered the basics that every household should have. So, let’s start with Peppermint. What are the benefits of Peppermint Essential Oil?
For one, this oil has the benefit to help you stay alert. Or if you have trouble staying awake during the day and have that afternoon sleepiness and would like a natural method to take the sleepiness away, Peppermint oil used topically or aromatically will help.
Because of the invigorating and cooling effects that pure Peppermint oil produces when you apply it to your skin, this is an ideal oil for staying attentive and aware. In order to create this extra boost, place 1–2 drops of Peppermint oil on your fingertips and then rub your temples. The invigorating aroma of Peppermint oil will help give you the natural sense of alertness you desire when you need it most. (Note: Be careful not to get this oil close to your eyes or put into your eyes.)
