As I move along on giving you strategies for building a strong and robust immune system, I would be neglect if I didn’t talk about sweeteners. It’s a hard subject because sweeteners are such a main staple to our diet and a “sweet one” at that. But a diet high in sugar is damaging to our immune system hence our overall health.
Check out my next Video and/or Podcast on Sweeteners in Our Food. You might be enlightened with some information you were not aware of. For example, did you know the average American adult receives roughly 13% of their daily calories from sugar … at least that’s what the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says. CDC says that children/adolescents get as much as 16% of their daily caloric intake from nothing but sugar. Grab your favorite beverage and listen to why having a diet high in sugar intact can be hazardous to your health. Also, be sure to listen to the end so you can get your Weekly Tip.
