As summer is winding down and many of you are preparing for your children to get back to school, I thought this information would be helpful for you to pack “healthy” lunches and snacks for your children.
BTW, these ideas can apply to you if you pack your own work lunch!!!
I highly recommend you avoid letting your children purchase lunch at the school as their nutritional food choices leave a lot of questions. Giving them a well-balanced lunch/snack with more protein than carbs and sugar will be important for them to get through the day without feeling lethargic and wanting a nap. When they get in that state it’s hard for them to concentrate.
When I had an organizing client, in my Agreement, I recommended that they had a good breakfast that was high in protein and low in carbs and sugar. Making decisions about decluttering was sometimes hard enough for my clients. I didn’t want to lose them to carb overload and becoming tired.
