Deep Breathing to Release Anxiety!

There are a number of things you can do to release anxiety in your body and depending on the level of anxiety and how long it’s lived in your body will depend on how quickly you can purge it from your body.  Living with high levels of anxiety and stress is not healthy for you and I know you know that.  But sometimes we know one thing but find it hard to make a signficant change to have positive results.

I’ve mentioned many times using Essential Oils to help reduce your anxiety and have listed many Oils to accomplish that.  Here is a link to download that list.  But let’s talk about another strategy for releasing anxiety in your body.

Your Breathing When Stressed

When you are stressed and anxious, your breathing tends to be shallower.  Taking deep breaths slowly can help your autonomic nervous system and bring you to place of peace.  Your goal is to get into your parasympathetic system; that calm place.  Take time to really stop what you are doing and take deep breaths for 5 minutes at a time.
