Summer is right around the corner and we will be spending more time in the sun whether we are gardening, yard work or laying at the beach.  For years we’ve been told how dangerous the sun is, but where did that “fear” begin?

Is it possible that the sunscreen manufacturers who to spewing upon us the dangers of the sun so they could sell more of their products?  But I’d like you to consider and think about is whether people are getting skin cancer from the sun or the sunscreen?  I don’t know the answer to those questions, but due to the fact that we have a very dishonest medical industry, focused mostly on profit, I would be surprised by the answer.

Who started the whole “low fat” propaganda?

For example, do you know who started the whole “low fat” propaganda?  The sugar industry.  The reason they started the propaganda is because they knew that in order to make food taste good, they could fill it with sugar instead of fat. But is fat bad for us?  Friends we need fat.  Our brains and our cells need fat.  It just needs to be healthy fat.

Just this weekend, I had a conversation with someone who has removed dairy from their life.  Ok I get it lots of people do that. Because frankly the way they process our dairy (even organic) is not healthy.  But they replaced dairy with oat milk.  Well unless the oat milk is organic, then it was sprayed with pesticides like Glyphosate or RoundUp.  They were not sure if it was organic or not.

So you can see, an Industry has been created that destroys one food type to then encourage people to replace it with something else.  They destroy diary and then recommend you replace it with nut milks or oat milks.  But the bottom line people want diary … or the effects of diary so they use “nut” milks.  But these replacement products are not necessarily safer.

Or people stay away from meat, but then they are craving a burger.  So they go and eat a “plant based” burger that is full of chemicals.

Well I have a solution for all of this.  Instead of “replacing” what you want with a substitute that is not necessarily healthier, just eat the original form of that food you want.  Just be sure it hasn’t been tampered with. I will share more on this in future posts

Let’s Get Back to the Original Issue

But I’ve digressed away from my original topic of sunscreen.  For years now we’ve been told how dangerous the sun is.  Well, yes if you are going to bake in the sun and get burned then it is dangerous.  But we need sun.  Sun helps produce the best form of Vitamin D that we need.

When you lather yourself with a sunscreen with toxic chemicals, that sunscreen doing more damage than the actual sun?  Just take sun in moderation.  Put a light linen or cotton covering on if you are at the beach and getting more sun than you want.  Or put a sun hat on to cover your face.

Two of the chemicals found in over 300 sunscreen products are Oxybenzone and Octinoxate.  These chemicals are suspected to cause disruptions in your hormones.  The European Commission published its final opinion stating that Oxybenzone is unsafe for use at current levels.

FDA led a study and found …

In 2020, the FDA led a study and found that “chemical sunscreen ingredients are absorbed after one application and some of those ingredients can stay in the blood for at least three weeks.” Those chemicals were: Avobenzone, Oxybenzone, Octocrylene, Homosalate, Octisalate and Octinoxate.  All these ingredients were absorbed into the bloodstream of the individuals in that study and the FDA said the concentration level surpassed the FDA safety threshold.
