One of the most asked questions is … “How do I live in peace?”  The world around us seems to be falling apart.  Our economy is a mess, groceries are so expense.  Gas is out of control.  It seems that we are being prepared for yet another round of fear being released for a virus and the list goes on.

It sometimes can be hard to wrap our brains around all that is happening.  I had a conversation with someone this morning and said we have been lied to for so long and things are so twisted (what was wrong is now right and what was right is now demonized) can we ever unwind it all and get to a place of truth and peace?

Not only is the pain around us growing but so is our internal pain.

Do you ever ask yourself these questions?

  • Why do I struggle getting through each day?
  • I had a fight with my spouse, but I got madder than the fight warranted, what’s wrong with me?
  • Why am I not sleeping and wake up with a pit in my heart?
  • Why do I find myself crying for no reason?
  • Why do I hate my life?
  • Why can I not take time to relax? I feel like I always need to be busy.
  • Why do I seem to make decisions in my life from a fear-based perspective?
  • I’m so unhappy why can’t I put my finger on what is making me so unhappy?
  • Why do I just feel lousy every day?

If this is you, then perhaps there is something rooted in you that is causing this internal pain and it’s rooted so deeply, you cannot identify it let alone do something about it.  The good news is you don’t need to live with that pain.  That pain can be healed, and you can find peace.

But it’s not necessarily words that you need.

My words can be comforting, and they can be inspiring, but they don’t necessarily change you.  The way to change is to face that place that lacks peace and push through it. Sometimes it can be scary to go to that place, but as my counselor said to me years again when I was going through the process of healing from my sexual abuse, “Stay with it.  It’s only a memory.  It’s not the act.”

Once you begin to push past the fear or pain you are experiencing by having different opportunities to do that, each one will get easier and easier.  In time you will find your fears and pain diminishing and one day you will realize “it’s gone!”  Just like I realized my abuse was healed from being called stupid.  Listen to this Podcast https://sites.libsyn.com/362552/healed-trauma-confirmed-through-quilting. Understand that fear is a coward and when you resist it, it will flee.

The hard part can be facing those painful times alone.  I know I did at times, and it was hard.  But then there were times I had the love and support of another that helped me get through.  That’s why working with a Spiritual Life and Health Coach can be that support you need to get to the root and then pull that root out to allow peace to blossom in your life.

Why “spiritual” life coach?

Because I take the work I do seriously, and I seriously take the guidance of the One who has the answers.  His wisdom on what you need to get to the place of victory is only what He can release.  Yes, I can use my past experiences and give you those tools to help you through but when you partner with the One who designed and created you, you cannot loose.  Know that the Father does answer prayers and more importantly wants you healed.

Read the following testimony from a recent client that I coached for a few months.

Can you relate to her feelings?

About a year ago I started experiencing some depression and was always feeling anxious.   As a person who has experienced these feelings off and on through my life and have been in and out of counseling, I just didn’t want to talk to anyone about it again.    I spoke to my primary care about the feelings I was having, she recommended I talk to Regina.   I’ve never heard of a Spiritual Life & Health coach and didn’t really want to spend the money on this type of therapy.    Fast forward several months I was still in a funk, so I decided to reach out to Regina.

Let’s just say this was one of the best decisions I ever made.  I left our first session feeling hopeful as Regina not only listened to me, but I know she heard me because she asked me questions about our conversations that helped me think of things differently.  As each week went on, I found myself looking forward to our meetings to not only tell her about the wins I had each week but also things I needed help with.  She gave me tools that nobody has ever given me to help me when I’m frustrated or overwhelmed.  I now use these tools daily and they have really helped me with my day-to-day life both at work and home.

I am happy again, things I questioned before I don’t question, I learned to say no to things I really don’t want to do and not feel guilty about it and lastly, I learned to put myself first again.   Regina truly cares and I felt that each of our sessions.  Although I had my last session as I felt strong and ready to move forward, I will keep Regina’s email/number close.
